INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT POLICY
This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate to the Company.
Dowding and Plummer Ltd. is committed to comply with all UK legal and other requirements and to continually improve the effectiveness of the integrated management system.
We will work closely with our suppliers and sub-contractors wherever possible to encourage them to adopt similar disciplines and to provide quality and safe and environmentally friendly products and services to enable us to fulfil our commitments.
This policy provides a framework for establishing and reviewing objectives.
We are committed to the prevention of pollution and to the protection of the environment.
In order to minimise environmental impacts, consideration is taken of the life cycle of plant & equipment and other physical assets under our control, in particular at the acquisition and disposal stages.
We aim to be a responsible employer and recognise that our people are a vital asset and we will ensure that we continue to provide safe premises and work places, including access and egress, together with the appropriate safety equipment and protection.
We will provide adequate information, instruction, training and supervision for our employees to enable work to be carried out safely and without risk to themselves, colleagues, the general public and the environment and to enable them to meet the requirements of our customers.
Our core employment values include those of providing equal opportunities and all employees will be consulted on matters such as quality of performance, health and safety and environmental issues.
We will set targets and objectives that will be appropriate to the Company and will support the drive for continual improvement on the various disciplines.
We will continue to monitor the service that we can provide to our customers and ensure that we provide the resources to affect the high standards set.
We will also carry out internal audits and measure our performance and analyse the results over a period of time.
It is the responsibility of both management and employees to implement this policy.
