Victor Floorcare Announces Exciting Move to New Premises

We are thrilled to announce that Victor Floorcare is relocating from Ace Business Park, Birmingham to Lancaster Court, Lancaster Road, Harlescott Industrial Estate, Shrewsbury, SY1 3LG. This move marks a significant milestone in our company’s journey, allowing us to expand our operations and better serve our ever growing customer base.

The new premises will provide us with larger facilities to accommodate additional staff, increased warehousing space, and enhanced production capacity. Interestingly, Lancaster Road holds a special place in our company’s history. The Victor name was chosen by Les Davies, our former Sales Director and joint Managing Director, inspired by his time flying Lancaster Bombers during World War II. Squadron planes were marked with the code letters VN, followed by the individual aircraft recognition letter. The phonetic call sign to the control tower on take-off and landing was “Victor Nan,” plus the letter of the aircraft. Les survived a full tour unscathed and considered the plane he was usually allocated – VN-F: Victor Nan-Fox – lucky.
